Current Loves/Obsessions

1.       All of the leaves and fallness going on. I’m so glad we didn’t skip right to winter. Well, actually I’m glad we circled back to fall (re October snow).
2.       Once Upon a Time and Grimm. They’re taking all my favorite Disney movies and making them kind of dark and twisty. I’m a little in love with it. Grimm’s not as creepy as I thought it would be.
3.       I just started watching Grey’s Anatomy from the beginning again. I stopped after season 5 (I think-whenever they killed George.) Apparently it’s getting good again, so I’m going to get myself caught up.
4.       Knitting. I’m in a groove. I want to knit everything.
5.       Finding a dark red or maroon sweater dress that has long or ¾ sleeves. I had no idea how difficult this would be. Maybe I’ll try to knit one. Or not. I’m not a gauge checker.
6.       Adele’s album. Why did it take me so long to download it? Specifically “One and Only”. This song makes me wish I could sing.

Tidbits

  • I decided to not really care about diet so much for the last couple of weeks.  This has resulted in a 5 pound weight gain.  My goal is to drop that, plus a little more as a cushion, before the holiday foodfests begin.  Fingers crossed. I'm planning on cardio 3 days a week, yoga twice, and weight training once or twice.  I also found out my old yoga teacher (from hot yoga last year) is teaching pole dancing at my gym.  I may have to try it.
  • Kellifish’s baby shower is this weekend. I’m very excited that I got the blanket done.  I’m making cupcakes for the shower, so I just have to get those done and I’ll be good.  Here’s a little preview.  It’s knit, purl, and seed stitches. It’s supposed to have a hood on the corner, but I don’t think I’m a fan.

  • I need to start thinking about what I’m getting/making people for Christmas.  I know for sure what I’m getting most people.
  • I wanted to start building at Habitat asap.  The soonest available date is October 27.  Which is a Thursday, when I work 2 jobs.  So I’ll probably end up going to the Women Build site (which is not as close to me) the first Saturday in November.  I would have thought they’d have more Saturdays available.  Shows what I know.
  • I really need to either find a different job #2 or start doing something on the side.  It’s making me stabby and I don’t like it.
  • I dislike people who come into job #2 wearing Phillies jerseys/tshirts/hats/etc while there's a NLDS GAME GOING ON RIGHT NOW. Are there assigned seats on the bandwagon? Meanwhile, I'm trying to check scores on my phone, which we're not allowed to use while we're clocked in because we can fired for it. Awesome.  Game 4 tonight! Also, who picks the times for these games? 6:07? What is that?

Because Why Not Choose Mid-July to Realign with Some Goals?

Number One- Stop spending so much money.  I was doing fairly well for a long time, then one fateful day I went clothes shopping and spent too much.  Since then I've bought a computer (which, thankfully, my mom and step-dad helped me with), software for said computer, a desk, an end table for my printer, a lamp, and some random stuff from Target, Michael's, and who knows where else that I probably didn't need. On the bright side, I have a nice little office area set up.

And then Discover sent me a letter today reminding me of my credit line.  Encouraging me to spend more.  Thanks guys.

Numero Dos- Get back in line with what my body needs to be healthy and run the way it should.  I'm home today.  I got about 3-4 hours sleep last night.  I could either go to work and be zombie girl and less productive than normal, or I could go back to bed and use the sick time that's just sitting there.  I went back to bed.

I haven't slept well all week.  I hope I'm not turning into an insomniac-I'm choosing to believe it's at least partially caused by antibiotics.  At least that's where I'm banking on the upset stomach coming from.  My goal is to get to the gym for cardio and strength training at least 2 days a week and going to yoga 1 day.  Thank goodness for groupon.  I've also bought myself a massage voucher (half off!).  I was planning on getting myself a massage for my b-day in September, so it kind of worked out since the voucher is good until January.  Win (except that I had to spend money on both the yoga and the massage, but it's better than paying full price).

I also need to resolve to eat more fruits and veggies and less baked goods from job #2.  I love fruit and veggies, so it's more of getting back in the habit than anything else.  I hate using the word "diet" thought.  Whenever I've committed to a "diet", it's never worked out well.  Except with Weight Watchers.  The points seriously made it easy.

Trois- My travel goal for this year was to go somewhere not involving family.  It was temporarily shifted to include my now ex, so I want to make a plan for myself.  I'm thinking maybe Boston for a long weekend.  Or if I extend the goal to next year, I'd like to go to San Francisco.  Actually, I've been itching to visit the west coast for forever.  I know this costs money, but I started a separate travel fund back in December.  Money automatically gets moves each week, and I have something to look forward to.

The ultimate goal is to be less stressed, healthier, and happier.  Fingers crossed I get there.

I'm Still Here

Which you know if you follow me on twitter.  Lots going on in my neck of the woods.  Some of which I can't/am not ready to share yet.  Here's what I can tell you:

~I got my wisdom teeth out.  I only had the top 2 because I'm some freak who never got all of my teeth.  It wasn't as bad as some people made it out to be.  I was scared.  Because I'm a baby.

~My friend's wedding plans are going well.  We're making the centerpieces ourselves.  They're going to look really nice.  Because we're allstars.  I might have found a new career path.  I can totally have a centerpiece business right?

~I got a new car!  It's a cute Honda Civic with a sunroof.  She's dark gray and her name is Lucille.  We're BFFs. (I can cross that off my 2011 goal list!)

~I'm able to cut back on working Sundays at job #2. What?  You mean I can make weekend plans and attend family dinners?  Oh hey Jersey Shore, I will see you much more this year!

~When I say "Jersey Shore" I don't mean the one on MTV.  I'm talking about South Jersey.  The town I go to is nothing like Seaside.  (Unfortunately).

~I'm going on vacation in one month!  Hopefully I'll be all tan when I get back and not all red from sunburn.

~I need to buy new bathing suits and summer clothes because a lot of my stuff doesn't fit right any more.  I've been getting my butt kicked at the gym, but it's so worth it!

Sorry for being away for so long.  Not even going to lie, I've been lazy.  But I'll try to post more normally.

Goals for 2011

I know, I'm a little late.  I’m a procrastinator…

After some consideration I present to you (dun dun dundun!) my goals for 2011!

1. Get a new car. This is happening. I have a down payment and a good credit score. My inspection and registration and all that jazz is due in March, so I’m getting it before the end of that month. HAPPENING. SO EXCITED!

2. Pay off my lowest balance student loan. If I wasn’t saving for the car, this would be done already, but whatevs.

3. Take a trip not relating to a family visit to somewhere I’ve never been. This will probably be a solo trip (practice for big trips I want to take in the future). I’m thinking San Francisco, Boston, or somewhere. (I’m going to try to get to DC this year too, but I’d be visiting my cousins, so that doesn’t count!)

4. Continue with the health goals from last year. I want to go back to yoga class (hopefully sooner rather than later), get toned, and lose 5-10 more pounds. I’m in a healthy range now, but I’d like a little bit more of a buffer.

5. QUIT JOB #2. This is a HUGE goal. I’m hoping for 6 months, so I’ll have the summer free. As much as I like the extra cash, it’s exhausting. I want to be able to spend time with friends and go away on weekends without having to remember to request off.

6. Learn some web programming. I have a book for dummies, and my step dad is sending me some other stuff. Maybe eventually this could be another source of income, but it really will help out with my current job-job #1, that is.

7. Cross something off my life list. I don’t know what yet. Maybe this will the year for sky diving?

8. Read the books in my book pile. There are so many. Some I started, but never finished. Some I bought and forgot about.

These goals are in addition to the ones that aren’t completed from last year. I haven’t forgotten about those. Yet.  Good luck to everyone who's set goals for this year!

I Think I’m An Adult Now

…or at least I’m getting there. It’s a very adult-ish week. Here’s why:

1. My mom is sending her will to me. I’m the executor for both her and my step-dad. I have to sign it and get it notarized. I don’t even know how to do that. Good thing there’s a notary who works in accounting.

2. I’m excited to get paid tomorrow. So I can pay bills. I’ve been paying off credit cards and such and saving for a car down payment as well. Hello being responsible.

3. I’ve been getting my job #2 clothes together the night before. Trust me, this is a big thing.

4. I’ve been better about not buying things that I don’t need (shoes).

5. I’ve grown some will-power. I don’t know if this is considered “adult”, but I feel a little accomplished, so I’m throwing it in there.

And while I still don’t have an apartment of my own, I’d like to think that I’m headed somewhere. I don’t want to go into a lease until I figure some stuff out. Maybe I’ll move. Facebook told me that I should live in San Francisco. Perhaps I’ll plan a trip to Cali—I’ve never been to the west coast!

I hope that everyone has a great weekend and a very safe Halloween. I have to work Sunday night, but I’ll be sporting some devil horns under my stupid visor. At least until I get in trouble.

6 Reasons I'm In A Good Mood Even Though It's Monday

Reasons I am in a good mood:

1-The Phillies are National League-Eastern Division Champs for the 4th year running (and we're in a seriously good division).  Fingers crossed we make it to the World Series again.

2a-I'm in week 3 of yoga and I feel like I'm improving.  The instructor hardly had to adjust me today.  I am still struggling with the heat some.  When I got home today and took my hair down (I had it in french braided pig-tails to keep it out of my face) it was wet all the way through with sweat.  Sexxy, I know.

2b-Mondayoga is perfect because it lets me clear my head for an hour and a half.  You're so concentrated on the poses (and the heat) that everything falls by the wayside for a short time.  It also leaves me feeling positive even though I know I have a 15 hour day ahead of me tomorrow.

3-I had a fun weekend with my mom visiting.  (Downside-it was a short visit and my step-dad couldn't come).  Hopefully they'll be able to visit soon.

4-It's starting to feel like Fall.  Loves it.  I'm excited for boots and scarves and hats.  Friday (if schedules work out) we're taking my cousin to this fall fest kickoff thingy at a local farm.  There's a story teller and a lighting of the pumpkin.  And homemade ice cream.  Mmmmm.

5-I turned 25 last week.  I don't know if that counts as putting me in a "good" mood.  But I got a massage and pedicure on my bday and that put me a good mood.  Also, my coworkers are amazeballs and got me an ice cream cake AND a Hello Kitty coloring and activity book. (Because how stressed can you be while coloring?  Exactly.  I highly recommend going to your local dollar store or Target and getting a coloring book and some Crayola crayons and chilling out.

6-I'm knitting again and getting back into some crafty stuff.  I really need to start an Etsy.  I have a pile of homemade dishcloths and a ton of yarn waiting to be knitted into more (and scarves, and two started blankets(Also, my brother has requested one.  We'll see, I have a short attention span when it comes to knitting, so blankets take a while.).)

The Long and Winding Road

DUN DUN.  I do love me some Beatles.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately. I know. This can’t lead to anything good…can it? Well, hopefully it does. I’ve been trying to figure out what I want to be/do when I grow up. Not an easy task. I’m one of those people that are kind of good at everything, but has never excelled or fell in love with anything. At least not anything practical that can be made into a career. I feel like I have a few paths I can go down, maybe eventually I’ll travel all of them. But here are my options (I think):

Option 1: Stay where I am. Keep working two jobs and living with my aunt so I can pay off debt and save for a new car. Keep being so busy and tired that I hardly have time to sleep and go to the gym, let alone see my friends as much as I’d like. This is not the most favorable option. The bright side to this one is that there have been rumors that they want me to start doing more marketing stuff and get me out of product photography/descriptions. No one has actually said anything directly to me. One of my coworkers, who is going to start doing marketing, told me. So there’s nothing concrete. But she said the timeline is about six months.

Option 2: Update the ol’ resume, post it on Monster, and start sending it out to PR firms in the city. City job = city apartment. Then I wouldn’t have to buy a new car and have insurance and all that jazz. This is very favorable. I think I’d be good in PR. Perhaps if I got good at it, I could open my own consulting firm or something (in the very distant future),  I could also apply in DC or New York, but that's WAY out of my comfort zone...which could be a good thing.  I do have a couple of cousins living in DC.

Option 3: Quit life and move to Europe for a year. Unfortunately this isn’t very realistic because I have a little thing call EFFING SCHOOL LOANS. I guess I could defer them. This is why I need to win the lottery or marry a rich man.

The first step to any of this is to de-clutter and find little ways of getting more money. So I have a plan before the plan to sell some old clothes, put some old books online, and maybe start an Etsy shop.

Now I just have to gain some focus…I swear I grew some ADD in my twenties. (I guess I could also attribute it to laziness, procrastination, or lack of will drive, but ADD sounds better.)

Why I Heart the Dirty Jerz

I was in Jersey over the weekend.  I had my aunt's house to myself and got to enjoy the quiet and relax.  Some of my favorite things about the shore:
  1. My aunt's got a hot tub on an enclosed porch so it can be used even when it's cold or raining.
  2. The beach access is two blocks away.  And it's called Lois Lane--loves it.
  3. The beach isn't super crowded.  There's a busy part up near the main part of the town, but the part that's right by the house is pretty quiet and relaxing.
  4. The outside shower.  I like to commune with nature.  It's all enclosed so you don't have to worry about someone watching you like a creeper.
  5. The fridge and freezer is always stocked.  And I can eat whatever I want.
  6. There's a bar not too far away.  So I can head down that way with friends and not have to worry about driving.
  7. It's not too far from AC, so I can head up there if I feel like gambling (which is hardly ever).
I'm headed back down that way for the three-day weekend with one of my friends.  Sooo excited.

A List of Randomness for You to Enjoy.

I have a ton of random stories floating around in my head right now and they're all jumbled and confusing so please don't blame me if this post comes out all jumbled and confusing.  I basically have a few short stories which is why they invented twitter, but here they are in list-ish form.

1-It's World MS Day...learn more here and join the global movement.

2-Effing ShoeDazzle.I ordered the "Nancy" shoes, in which  a portion of the proceeds go toward an MS Society (see above).  And they sent me two left shoes.  TWO. LEFT. SHOES.  Is this God punishing me for too much shopping?  probably...

3-@toywithme is following me on Twitter.  Which I find to be odd.  Since I don't write about sex like, ever.  Because I don't do that sort of thing.  (Or Big Brother reads this.  Hi.)  I sent her sparkle vagina hugs, anyway.  She probably found me through Nicole at More Is Better because I read and comment and twitter stalk her.

4- I saw my ex-boyfriend at the bar Saturday.  I haven't seen or spoken to him in over a year.  Felt awkward.  Didn't acknowledge him.  I left. At midnight. But somehow didn't get home til 3.  Funny how that works out.

5a-  Took off Monday to go to the Philadelphia Zoo.  It's the oldest zoo in the country.  Recognize.

5b- There was a baby orangutan.  I wanted to steal it.  But it was protected behind glass.  I'll post a picture when I'm not feeling so lazy.

6- Glee was amazing this week.  I love Puck even more now.  And Finn dressed in a red shower curtain was amazing.  Also, I want to get a puppy and name her Jackie Daniels.  Brilliant.

7-  Watch Parenthood on NBC.  SO GOOD.  There were 13 episodes this season and I loved every one of them.

8- My computer is still not fixed.  Fail.  I think it may need to go to the doctor.

9-  Post about girly doctors on Friday.  Please take this time to mentally prepare yourselves.

10- I feel like I need to update my resume and start shopping around for a new job.  Boss man is still as annoying as ever.  I like my job, but I don't love it.  Might be time for a change.

I'm going to stop at 10 because it's a nice round number and I have a touch of OCD when it comes to numbers.  Because I'm weird like that.  I don't like lists with off numbers.  Odd numbers are okay, but only if it's a multiple of 5...I have issues.

My Favorite Song Lyrics (that I can think of at this moment...)

I don't really have anything better to write about today. I'm having a brain block. I blame the allergies and the pollen and the whatsits. So here is a list of some of my favorite song lyrics.

Eve 6 "Superhero Girl"

Your erotic, wet, atomic eyes keep reoccurring in my mind. Do me a favor, please, and touch your lips to mine. --I love this line. I don't know why. I just love the whole song. Since seventh grade, approximately.

Eve 6 "Girl Eyes"

Foresight is so often blind, a slur to my favorite rhyme. --This is where I got the name of my blog.

Green Day "When I Come Around"

You can't go forcing something if it's just not right. --Green Day has so much amazingness, but this is definitely one of my favorite lines from them. Ever.

The Beatles "Come Together"

Got to be good looking 'cause he's so hard to see. --I love the Beatles. How can you not? Everyone's gotta have at least one Beatles song that they like. "Come Together" is one of my favorites. I won't bore you with my other faves.

Ingrid Michaelson "The Way I Am"

I love you more than I could ever promise. --This is the song from that one Old Navy commercial (if you get chilly, here take my sweater). I love this line. I want that feeling.

Otter Petter "Turn Out the Lights"

And the way that she throws back her hair makes me weak in the knees

/AND/

And I can't figure out if the static is all in my head. --I really just love this song. It's super catchy. I suggest giving it a listen.

Kendall Payne "Supermodels"

Think it over once or twice, what lasts the longest in this life? Character? or rock-hard thighs? And in the end do you believe that beauty lies in what you see? Cause if you do then, baby, you've been deceived. --This song is from the beginning of the show "Popular". I think it only ran for 2 seasons, but I loved that show. It's from the same people that are doing Glee now, beeteedub.

Barenaked Ladies "Pinch Me"

I could hide out under there. I just made you say "underwear". --This one gets me every time. I laugh to myself in my car, in a store, anywhere. AP agrees with me.

Modest Mouse "Missed the Boat"

I am certainly uncertain, at least I'm pretty sure I am. --Fantastic song. Great band to see live.

Taking Back Sunday "Liar (It Takes One to Know One)"

I'm an addict for dramatics, I confuse the two for love.--So true of so many people.  I used to think this way when I was younger, fortunately I've wised up.

I know this is not a complete list by any means. I might add to it later, but I doubt it.

Update or something

This is going to be scattered.  No intro, just gonna dive right in.

1. Goals 2010: nothing new really.
a.  I've managed not to buy too many new clothes since cleaning everything out.  I've also managed not to remember to put them out on morning when Purple Heart is supposed to be here.  Maybe I'll just take them to Goodwill.
b.  I have been keeping up with the gym and consequently eating more and also things that are bad for me.  That's just how my brain works.  "I went to the gym...mmm cake!"  I have put on some muscle.  My lower body is looking pretty awesome.  Thank you crossramp!
c. I'm still blogging.

2.  I'm so sick of seeing the trailer for the new Miley Cyrus movie.  If I ever met her, I'm pretty sure I'd punch her in the face.  That's not a threat...swearsies.

3.  The universe decided to make me be super busy workwise at both jobs because I'm off next week.  Awesome.  I'm training someone at job#2 and I'm pretty much the worse trainer ever because I don't really know the new way to do.  They changed protocol and whatnot in the two years since I was there.  Annnd I have like 4 boxes of product to get through at job#1 and like 3 meetings this week.

4.  I haven't been sleeping well.  Going to try to get some shuteye after I'm done posting.  Tylenol PM has been my biffle this week.  NABM (new annoying boss man) asked me if I was "in a mood" the fifth time he came in to bother me today.  I might have to shut my door to get through the rest of the week.

5.  I've been watching Top Model and Tyra has worn a jumpsuit (one piece outfit that's like a dress except the bottom has pant legs instead of a skirt) every episode.  I know you're skinny again, sweetie, but no.

Life Lessons: Mall Edition

Here are some things that I have learned whilst shopping at the ginormous mall in my area.  I'm mostly sure that these don't only apply to me, but to you as well.

1. The thing you just bought on Saturday will be on sale for a lot cheaper come Monday.  (This means YOU Bath & Body Works.  Scent Bugs for HALF THE PRICE I JUST PAID....jerks...Of course, it could just be an online deal...then you'd have to pay for shipping.  So really, I don't think they're jerks and my room smells like heaven and puppies and clean sheets and I love Bath & Body Works.)

2.  You won't be able to find the boots/shirt/dress you want/need when you're actually looking for it--it took me like a year to find brown flat calf-high boots that I'm in love with (thanks, Kimmie K)

3.  You can divide the cost of something (shoes, DVDs, etc) by the number of times that you use it and you get it's real value.  I'm pretty sure my iPod owes me money by now.

4.  Never EVER make eye contact with the people working at the kiosks.  They just want to massage your hands, straighten your hair, or sell you a super stretchy leash for the dog you don't have.  And they always have an accent--it's to get you into your trap.  Just say "No, thank you" and high-tail it outta there, otherwise they'll follow you with those cell phone covers.

5. People walk slower on the weekends. True story.  I forgot how annoyed I get with slow walkers.  And is it necessary for you to roam left to right as you're walking so I can't pass you?  I think not...people need to be more considerate.

6. Mall shopping will make you miss the simplicity that is Target.  Target has it all.  I go to Target that's 15 minutes away waaayyy more than I go to the mall that's 3 minutes away.  Unless I'm just looking for clothes or shoes.  (PS... Am I the only one that can't spend less than $25 at Target in any given trip?)

7.  You can find awesome stuff on clearance if you have the patience to look.  Just try to go during the workweek or else the racks will be a mess and you'll want to punch the teeny-boppers that are in your store in the face.  And usually they frown upon that in public.

How to Survive in a Zombie Apocalypse: The Boys Scouts Aren't Even *This* Prepared

I started this post a while ago, and the Bloggess was talking about zombies.  Or she just mentioned zombies once and it reminded me that I had never finished this.

Anyway, there are a couple of ways to survive a zombie attack.

The Classic Decapitation Approach

Severe the head.  This is why we keep scythes around in the modern day.  Just swing that shit and aim for the head/neck area.

The Shotgun Approach

If you're going with this approach, make sure you've got something high caliber.  You've got to shoot that undead bastard in the head.  That's the only way to kill these m-effers.

Michael Jackson aka Thriller Approach

As Lady Gaga would say, "Just Dance".  Zombies love to dance.  That's why no one ever gets away in zombie movies...they don't dance.  This is my personal recommendation.  It worked for MJ, it can work for you too.

I just don't know what to do in the case of zombie babies.  It's a conundrum.  It's a baby.  You can't take out a baby.  Even if it is a zombie.  Is it possible to adopt it and raise it like a human?  I mean, they've got to be cute, right?  Baby anythings are usually adorable.

Boyfriend Application Addendum

I've thought of something else...
Be an outside person!  I like indoor activities and suck, but I loveloveLOVE being outside.  Especially when the weather's nice.  I live not to far from a bike trail and national park and I go down there and walk/jog(ha)/bike when I can.  And I absolutely effing love the beach.  If you're one of those "ew the beach is boring I'd rather do 7 other things than go there" then don't even bother.  I would spend my entire summer on the beach if I could.  This is why I enjoy visiting my mom in Florida--she works RIGHT ON THE BEACH.  It's fantastical to get my beach fix in the middle of winter.

Update: And also like cheese.  And stuff covered in cheesey goodness.

Boyfriend Application

Well, Valentine's Day is coming again.  No boy to share it with this year, which has led me to write this little list of what I look for in the opposite sex.

Boy Must:

Be within a desirable age range. If he's got to wait in the parking lot while I go get a drink at the bar, no thank you.  Mustn't be more than 5 or 6 years my senior either.  Maybe that'll get extended.

Please have an accent I can understand.  American, Irish, British, or something equally yummy.  If I can't understand what he's saying, he's going to have to move along.  I don't want to waste half my life asking him to repeat what he just said.

Do not have kids.  Don't get me wrong, I love kids.  But I would honestly rather start my own family than take over another one.  Having baby mamas in the picture usually makes things really messy.  If he's got baby mama drama, next!

We need to have shared interests so we have something to talk about.  If we share the same taste in music and books--perfect!

Drug free is the way to be.

Bonus points for:

Green eyes
Wearing glasses
Being a Vonnegut fan
Enjoying concerts/club shows
Being a Phillies fan
Enjoying museums

There's definitely more that would allow me to click with someone, these are just the basics.  I'm sure I'll edit.

Why I'm Not Already Skinny-Minny

Things that are detrimental to me getting skinny:

  1. My gym isn't exactly open yet.  They're supposed to be open on the 18th, so here's hoping.
  2. Anything that is dark chocolate, peanut butter chocolate, or delicious covered in Nutella.
  3. Job #2 is in a bakery...yeah.
  4. I really like food.  Ergo, I'm bad at dieting. I'm ok with maintaining my weight as it is right now, so I figure if I make some adjustments and add in exercise, I can meet my goal.
  5. I like to bake....it's a stress reliever for me.  So when I bake, I eat.  I eat, feel fat, get stressed. Vicious cycle.
  6. It's too cold to go to the bike trail.
  7. I really enjoy being lazy/watching tv/reading.
What I really need is for someone to yell at me to go work out.

    Goals for 2010

I never keep resolutions.  Ever.  So this year I decided to set goals for myself.  I'm hoping that in taking this different approach I'll be able to accomplish some of the things I really want overall in my life.  So here's my goal list so far:

    1.  Go to gym/lose some poundage/get healthy(skinny)
    2. Start a blog (I'm a winner already)
    3. Pay off credit cards
    4. Get passport
    5. Cross 2 items off life list
    6. Find an apartment
    7. Get organized (I'm terrible at keeping stuff in it's "home")
    8. Volunteer (My main cause is the National MS Society, but I'm interested in finding others as well)
    9. Clean out clothes
    10. Go through boxes from last move

I don't know how I ended up with 10.  My list is pretty concise.  I like how Allie did her list.  I should have tricked myself as well, but I'm clearly not as sly as she is.

Later I'll put up my life list...maybe.
